We woke up to -26 C the other morning a real winters day. And that was at the house…in the fields it’s probably much colder…but all the chilly temps have a lovely side effect.
Sun.
Beautiful, glorious sun. And it actually feels warmer inside the house because the air is so dry right now…it’s a win win situation.
I’m so grateful for the sun, bring on the frosty if it means brilliant sparkly diamonds glittering the countryside.

Thank goodness for cell phones because in this winter cold our fingers freeze almost instantly when you remove your gloves, the extreme cold makes the DSLR’S freeze up, draining the battery. A cell phone slips into my down jacket pocket and it’s easy to grab a shot, and keep moving…wouldn’t want to be mistaken for a snowman.
